Rich has been active in the Greater Connecticut business community for over 30 years as an advocate for manufacturing, training and education, and collaborative efforts that support community and economic development.
He has served the community as a volunteer and as a consultant to private and public sector business including nonprofit organizations. He earned a degree in Industrial Management and with a concentration on Environmental Control Technology.
He is known for building strategic partnerships around his strengths in Workforce Development, Energy Management and Continuous Improvement.
Rich is also Co-Host of Manufacturing Matters Radio and is a recipient of the Webster Smith Award for Manufacturing, CONNSTEP’s Manufacturing Award for Exceptional Achievements, the Greater Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce award for Leadership in the Community, Wellmore Behavior Health for Children & Families Dorothy Standard Award for Volunteerism as well as the Watertown Oakville Chamber of Commerce’s Community Leader of the Year Award.
